Notes....

Gorman was a somewhat inexperienced marine. Commander of the rescue mission to LV-426 and highest ranking officer abroad the sulaco.
    His post for most of the mission was inside the tactical operations bay of a APC (see USCM Tactical Database) directing the actions of the marines.
        He was rendered unconscious for most of the mission after a visit to the atmosphere processor, as the marines where fleeing the site in the APC. several storage lockers opened , the contents falling on Gorman, giving him a concussion.
    Gorman recovered enough to help when the marines made their way to the landing field through the airducts.
    As Vasquez became injured Gorman ordered HICKS to go on ahead as he went to assist her,as she had opened fire on an alien at point blank range.
    Gorman carried her through the airducts, however they where descended upon on all sides by aliens .
    Gorman and Vasquez( in a death grip).  detonated an M-40 Grenade (see USCM Tactical Database)  ,sacrificing  themselves , but saving Hicks ,Ripley and Newt form their alien attackers..
