The Kuala Lumpur Chamber Music Players is an
performing arts group formed in 1980 by James Vadiveloo to
provide performance opportunities for competent amateurs in western and
carnatic music. Three concerts are presented annually at a
private recital hall in Kuala Lumpur with a capacity of 75
persons. An exchange programme with musicians resident in Switzerland
in which recitals were presented reciprocally in Malaysia and
Switzerland was an important activity between 1984 - 1999.
