16-ton Bedford KM
My first proper lorry!
A 16-ton Bedford KM.
Noisy, uncomfortable, and
with no sleeper cab, but I
was a lorry driver at last!

getting cold, wet and dirty
roping and sheeting.

with at first, but after a
while it becomes a pain!

a hydraulic turntable lift,
and no springs on the
rear axle. (Ouch!)

One of the last trucks I've
driven, a Volvo FH12 on
hire to BHS. A beautiful
vehicle. It's a pity some fool
fitted it with a speed limiter!
