Personal history:
Bred as an AKC show prospect, but could never win because of her color patterns. Neglected and mistreated by her frustrated owners, Dusty was finaly sent to the Humane Society where her chances of adoption were grim because she had never been properly socalized as a pup. Was adopted on her last day by Jim Ferreira, a locomotive engineer working the Oceanside to SanDiego commuter run. Was chosen as a Road Rover because of her loyalty. When her master suffered a massive attack of pnemonia and was bedridden for 10 days, Dusty remained at his side the whole time, even having to be fed in the bedroom.

Habits:
Tends to stick close to at least one other Rover at all times because she hates being alone, and is a little timid around people she doesn't know well.

Likes:
Socail interaction, reading, sleeping, playing ball.

Dislikes:
Hates being alone. Is also closterphobic, tight enclosed spaces remind her of the crates she was often hauled around in as a showdog.

Skills:
Quick to learn almost anything. Being trained as a tactition and in emmergency medicine.

Weapon of choice:
Laser pistol.

Notes:
While shy and timid at first, Dusty is quick to become a friend to anybody and is one who will stand by you, come what may. With her keen hearding dog senses and her sharp wit, she is always helpful on field assignments. Although strong and inteligent, Dusty is not a good choice for assignments that require one Rover working alone. She suffers from a canine condition known as "seperation anxiety" in which dogs become very nervous when left alone. Despite this, Dusty is not just a bundle of nerves, but a complicated individual with a deep love for her friends, her family, and her position with the Rovers.
