Stingers, our man maybe having some problems! It's good to be back and to update so let me give you the lowdown on the happenings of Sting and the place we call home, WCW!

I've been gathering information from all over the net, as you won't get it off of the regular shows....it seems that WCW has had a heck of week with the apparent firing/demotion of Vince Russo and Ed Ferrar. Then on the heels of Vince's letting go of, the "Sensible Seven" (as I like to call them) decided to leave......At first that list was Chris Benoit, Dean Malenko, Eddy Guerrero, Shane Douglas, Billy Kidman, Perry Saturn, and Konnan....but then that number dwindled down to 5, with Kidman and Konnan deciding to stay....All of this came AFTER the concussions of Bret Hart and Jeff Jarret forcing a rewriting of Souled Out. The major reprecussions of this include the loss of the "Fabulous Five" AND the creation of a booking committee composed of Kevin Sullivan, Kevin Nash, Gary Juster, Bob Mould, Mike Graham, and J.J. Dillon. It seems that none of the boys in the back like the demotion of Russo who's future in the company has not been determined fully. What is known for sure is that with the turmoil going on in WCW, it was a huge effort to put on a show Monday night while keeping a brave face. Rumors are abound as to exactly what the Fabulous Five will do with their careers now that they are no longer with WCW. Some have speculated that they will be going to the WWF but that is not known for sure. Hopefully, WCW will rise above this and get the company straight once again so that they can provide some competition for the WWF. Now for the Sting news.....It seems that our Stinger is having a baby girl, so first and foremost here's a congratulations to Sting and hopes that his little girl will be healthy.....While Sting is helping bring a new addition into the world, his movie titled "Shutterspeed" will premiere on TNT on February 6 at 10 p.m. Be sure to stay up or plead with your parents to see the Man, the Myth, the legend in action. I can't say I will be disappointed....however, what I am disappointed in is the rumor going around that certain top-paid wrestlers in WCW are on a hit list to be "forced" to quit....it seems our Stinger is one of them. First and foremost, that would be suicide on the part of WCW to do something that stupid. I mean why get rid of someone who's been loyal all 15 years he's been there and has put your company on the map along with Ric Flair? But if they let Stinger go, then it will be WWF's gain and gain of my viewership completely cause wherever the Stinger goes, I go.......

"MY THOUGHTS"

--So much has been going on in the WCW and it's having it's effect on it's fans.....over on Kevin Nash's site [www.kevinbigsexynash.com] the WCW fans are in an uproar over the situation. To borrow Dennis Miller's words here, now I don't want to get off on a rant here but....if WCW was so adamant about winning the ratings war again, why in the world would you put people who don't know how to book the shows back into power? It seems to me that if Nash and Sullivan can't get the job right then why are they back in power when they have been Russo's harshest critics from day one?....Vince Russo wasn't given a good enough chance to prove his worth in the WCW and it seemed that right when he was getting things going and settling into a comfortable routine, those out to get him waited for the perfect opportunity to catch him off guard and mess him up. If I were Russo I would quit on them and let WCW suffer. But I'm not Russo, I'm just an ordinary fan who happens to be very profound in the behind the scenes knowledge.....

--Speaking of being a fan, has anyone noticed that WCW has some of the worst theme music known to man? With the exception of a few wrestlers, everyone has music that sucks that you can't recognize. Even ECW has some better music. Speaking of ECW, I happened to be home the other night (Friday) and I caught one of their matches. Super Crazy v. Tajiri was one the best matches I have ever seen, even surpassing most of the matches done by the Hardy Boyz v. Edge/Christian......anyone who wants to be constantly amazed by wrestling moves again please tune in to ECW's show....just to give you an example, in that Super Crazy match I saw, Tajiri put 3 chairs in front of Super Crazy's face and then proceeded to do a baseball slide into them....this therefore, split open Super Crazy's head like a melon with a sharp knife......also, when Tommy Dreamer and Raven fought Doring and Roadkill, there was a spot at the end of the match that called for Sandman to come out and cane Rhino....Rhino must have taken 6 DIRECT shots to the head before falling out.....in my 3 years + some more years when I was little of watching wrestling, I have never seen anything like ECW before....at first I kinda just ignored them but then they proved that they are EXTREME.....I know what I will be doing on Friday nights from now on!

--Unfortunately, with the firing/demotion of Russo it seems that Hogan will be making his return again on Valentine's Day or sooner....I hope not......I don't want to be put to sleep anymore by him or WCW......:)...all right this concludes my update for now until I can steal some more time from my busy life to work on the page......hope to see you soon....:)
