Studio news:
From Pirromount Studios: Mark Pirro and Pirromount are currently
working on a deal with Troma Entertainment to bring some of his
movies to DVD. It is unknown at this time what movies those will
be.
New movies:J2K: JESUS 2000 Comedy, completion date: Christmas 2000,
RECTUMA Comedy Release date: 2004 In the
tradition of Godzilla and Mothra, comes RECTUMA
- a 20 story tall butt that is terrorizing Tokyo. To help stamp
out hunger in the world, a Japanese scientist has perfected a
formula that will increase the size of any organic matter. He
reasons that one drop of this formula on a grain of rice could
feed a neighborhood. However, sabotage is in the works when his
associate flushes it down the toilet. Unbeknownst to the
saboteur, some of the formula spills onto the toilet seat. Later
that day, nature calls and the saboteur sits on the tainted seat.
He begins to feel a tingling sensation on his backside and the
beginning of Rectuma is emerging. Over the next few weeks,
Rectuma grows and grows until it finally breaks away from its
host and walks a path of destruction in Japan. Rectuma will make
extensive use of CGI for its visual effects.

From Troma Entertainment: Troma has finally updated their website! New graphics and a new format make this site a must see. If you haven't been there yet, I highly reccomend it, particularly since the update/upgrade. Troma is now also offering conversion of films to DVD for all independant film makers. Although it is rumoured that the rights to any film so converted would have to be sold to Troma Entertainment. More on that as information becomes available.
From Tempe Entertainment: Will re-release a digitally remastered

Tempe has also announced the liquidation of 12 titles to
