I call my little group of theories
"Project Quantum Leap"... Now many realize the name of the sci-fi
show...
But if examined closely, there is much truth to the fundamentals of
time travel. For one, note...
At
the beginning of the show, it shows a blue glowing mountain and when Dr. Beckett
"leaps" he is
always
surrounded by a glow of blue light. Now I don't know if the writer realizes
it, but it does make
sense.
For the factmentioned in Einstein's General Theory Of
Relativity,
stating that when blue
light
hits certain metals, it emits large amounts of electrons. Of course, this is known as the
Photoelectric
Effect
or a more commmon example to most is the solar cell...
Another
situation is of him being able to only "leap" within his own lifetime. This is
in accordance by the
theory
of one not being able to exist period... Wether their "atoms" be in the
correct time placement,
dimension,
ect or not. But personally I do not believe that theory. I believe you can
"leap" as far in the
past
or the future as you want. As long as it's a time which can support life (e.g. leaping to
the time of
before
the dinosaurs and there was no atmostphere, ect.). And for the matter of people saying
that
you
can't leap in to the future because it has not happened, well, I say that's not true. I
thought about that
situation
very carefully and one day I was reading and it dawned on me.. Einstein's Observation
Experiment.
Where one observer viewed the lantern on the train and the observations were compared
from
the obervation on the train and the one at the train station... Even though the purpose of
that
example
does not totally relate to travel in to the future, but that the fact of the stats,
outcome or
whatever
you wish to call it is determined by the observer... And no one answer is correct, nor
incorrect..
As
in the furure has not happened for us, but for a person in the "future", it is
the present and vice
versa...
Therefore, we can not say that the future has not happened nor can those of the
"past" say that
the
future has not happened.. For, we are all bound by our own "observations".
