FREEDOM MINISTRIES, INC. became incorporated as a non--profit, independent Christian ministry in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA, in July 1994, and began working on developing a program for a long-term residential child care system. Between l994 and l999, we offered home-schooling for children not allowed out of their homes by their drug dealing guardians, offered in-home child care for guardians working at night, worked with local congregations in their neighborhood children's Bible School programs, offered counseling to adults at a local congregation's neighborhood food pantry, taken under-privileged children on field trips, helped local flood victims with temporary shelter, and given young children the opportunity to learn how a business is operated and the work related to such a business. By expanding to include adults and an internet ministry, our ministry outreach truly became God's orphanage for His unwanted children of all ages. That is, for all of His children, from birth to death.
In 1997, FREEDOM MINISTRIES, INC. went online with a worldwide prayer network. WORLDWIDE PRAYER NETWORK has reached many people with the tenderness of the Lord Jesus Christ, and with the love of the Gospel.
In October of 1999, the Lord moved the work of FREEDOM MINISTRIES, INC. to northeast Thailand where it was located in the provincial capital of Buriram Province, also called Buriram. While being there, FREEDOM MINISTRIES, INC. was involved with teaching English as a second language to students and residents of Buriram City, Buriram Province, Thailand. Full time English teaching was being done at the Buriram College of Agriculture and Technology, with private tutoring done in the evenings and on weekends.
In 2004, FREEDOM MINISTRIES, INC. became the mission arm of the MEXICAN NATIONAL CATHOLIC CHURCH under the direction of Archbishop Rev. John Parnell of St. Augustine Old Catholic Church in Fort Worth, Texas.
In October 2008, the Lord discontinued the mission site in Buriram, Thailand, and its affiliation with the Mexican National Catholic Church. Since then, FREEDOM MINISTRIES, INC. relocated to Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, to reorganize, restructure, and re-develop. FREEDOM MINISTRIES, INC. remains an independent Christian ministry not associated or affiliated with any one local church group or denomination while preparing for future ministry opportunities.
The Lord continues to improve and perfect that which He has begun and many more years of serving the Lord are eagerly anticipated.
