Poem by Hugo van Staden

Who's Who

Jelly tuckle tokkle too
How do we know who is who?
The sound it makes when it eats some cakes
When it laughs and cries with a sham and fakes

Jolly tickle tuckle too
Are you the one that gets the flu?
Sighs and whys with lamenting eyes
Tearful nobbles that go into wobbles

Jolly tockle tackle too
Sometimes with red and sometimes blue
Like Scarlet O'Hara the dress can't go farther
Shorter or longer it's always a bother

Jolly tickle tuckle too
So if I'm not me and you're not you
Why should you giggle making a wriggle
Just move your bum and make a riggle

Jolly jelly tuckle too
Jolly teckle tickle too
Jolly tuckle tackle too
So who cares who is who!
