GARnet Company has eleven stories worth of inventory all crammed into four. Like the Civil War's post-war veterans organization, the Grand Army of the Republic (GAR), our GARnet site is founded on a NETwork of many slick ideas. So far, our place has four stories to it. In the near future, we may add more items. For example, we are currently developing an inventory of Books. And for Genealogists, in which county did your Ohio Civil War veteran live? We soon will have a nice inventory of New Books related to the 1890 Ohio Veterans Census.
GARnet's Four-tiered Inventory
On the first floor are Baseball Sporting Goods. Many Civil War veterans learned the game of baseball while serving in the army, and when they returned home, the fun game spread to the four corners of the U. S. Here is memorabilia affiliated with Hall of Famers, Teams, the World Series, and Popular Current Baseball Players. Click here to dust off home plate and Play Ball!
On the second floor is Railroadiana. Civil War veterans learned that speedy overland travel was critical when developing the North American Continent, so they invested in America and started a transportation revolution. On the third floor is the Civil War. Like Civil War veterans, many Americans still have THE WAR and waving the "bloody shirt" on the brain. But the old veterans made "Fraternity, Charity, & Loyalty" their motto. Their legacy lingers to this day as a reminder that Americans fighting amongst themselves was a very deadly idea. On the fourth floor is Family History. Many old soldiers just loved to tell about their adventures. Some of them realized how important it was to write down what they remembered. Click here to see the list of books in the archives.

GARnet will accept a check or money order payable in U. S. dollars for all items. We also accept credit card payments through the popular PayPal secure payment system. Shipping costs are extra. Most shipping fees [except really heavy items] in the U. S. range from $2.50-$4.00 with insurance included. Outside the U. S., shipping costs will vary, but we can work that out.
