My likes and dislikes

My likes and dislikes....an interesting subject. Lets get the dislikes out of the way first. It might be more painless that way...and you might have recovered by the time you get to the things I do like. haha

One of the biggest things I do NOT like is being lied to. I see no need. I know sometimes we don't tell the whole story to try and protect someone from being hurt, but to come out and blatantly lie bugs the hell out of me. Why bother? What are you hoping to achieve by doing so? Sooner or later you will get caught out and you are gonna look like a fool, as well as losing the trust and respect of the people you bullshitted in the first place.

If you are gonna bullshit me then we will not be friends for long. I like people for who they are, not for who they think I want them to be.

If you try and change someone they will only resent you for it later because it is not who they are.

As far as I am concerned, when you meet someone, whether it is as a friend or lover, there is one or more qualities that attracts you to them. So why would they want to try and make out they are something they are not? I don't understand it.

I always remember the old saying..."You never get a second chance to make a first impression"...so make it count!!

I also hate gossip. I guess I kinda figure that people who gossip must have pretty damn boring lives if they have to talk about other people.

I have had people come up to me and start with "Did you hear about....blah...blah"... Like I give a shit right? By the time gossip gets to you it is usually so far removed from the truth, and someone is probably getting hurt by vicious lies.

I dislike other things too, but I won't get into that. I don't want everyone knowing too much about me too soon. I prefer you find out for yourself. Believe me, if something bugs me, you WILL know about it.

I can't help myself...I am a red head...and at times my fiery side comes out...whether right or wrong I let off steam. Luckily it is not very often..and generally not around other people. Ok..so I'm a considerate fiery red head <laughs>.

Well..thats my story and I'm sticking to it...I am not gonna introduce you to anyone that might tell you otherwise. Hell I am trying to make a good impression here...you think I'm stupid?...hahaha

Anyways....what else don't I like.

Ooooh yeeeaaaaa....I particularly don't enjoy any Australian team that beats any New Zealand team...at ANYTHING...whether it be sport or whatever. See we have this rivallry thing happening. Don't get me wrong, I have never been to Australia, and by all accounts it is a beautiful country, geez I think half of New Zealand lives there now anyways, which of course raises the IQ level dramatically, its just tradition that we give each other heaps.

Ok, Ok...I will admit I have met and do know some nice Aussies...so don't everyone go bagging me for it...I'm just kidding around. I just can't resist seeing if I will get a bite from anyone..so NO hate mail please!!
