        First I have to admit that I currently do not own a BMW Motorcycle, so I may not be an expert.  But I am attracted by the renowned quality, heritage and character of the BMW label, and plan to purchase one as soon as possible (trying to save $ so I don't have to get into a loan situation - hate those monthly payments).  The model I am interested in is the R1100RS, although I am also considering an older model.  I want a bike which I can ride every day (need to make that commute to work worth looking forward to somehow!), and which I can tour on (I would like to travel the US and camp along the way).  I'll let you know which model I choose in the coming weeks.
