Silverchair Logo

Signed at a young age (15!), silverchair is the envy of many un-signed rock groups. Their albums, "Frogstomp,"  "Freak Show," and their latest "Neon Ballroom" each have sold many many copies. The group is the happiest with their latest c.d., because it shows their musical diversity, and how much they have matured musically, and mentally. On "Freak Show" the group experimented with different instruments.  They liked the result so much that on "Neon Ballroom" almost all of their songs have at least one classical instrument on it.  Daniel said that on the songs for "Neon Ballroom" he dealt with more emotional issues, not just anger as on previous albums.  With their latest release, the group is getting more recognition world wide and more radio airplay with their singles "Anthem for the Year 2000", "Ana's Song (Open Fire)", and "Miss You Love".
