Hodgson or Robinson? Joel basically played himself but his last name was different. On the show he went by Joel Robinson. His real last name is Hodgson. But this part right here is about Robinson. Anywho...moving on. Joel get's shot up into space by these mad scientist...yada yada. If you didnt read all the way through the plot thing then go back and read it. I'm not explaining it again. Moving on...Now, Joel Hodgson is know for his trend setting drowsiness. Someone wrote in one time mentioning his look. The reason he looks drowsy is because he was up all night putting finishing touches on the robots. Joel's first episode was back on KTMA. The movie was called "The Green Slime". His final episode was "Mitchell" which featured him in a escape pod that Gypsy found under a box of hamdingers which delivered him safely in the Australian outback.

Where's Joel now? Joel created the show back in 1988. He left because he felt it was time for him to go and try something different (that's when mike took over). Well, it seems that UPN is trying to get his brain to hopefully get the struggling station some good shows. The deal is that there is $200,000-$250,000 set aside for the development of a show, which will go to five comedy writters. Of course on of these writters listed is our dear buddy Joel Hodgson. Now, this news is kinda old. I havent really seen anything else about it. But if I hear something, it'll be up on the news part of the site in no time. So lets keep our fingers crossed.
