Across the pond, from where there
got to here
Miles passed overtop cotton candy clouds
Undulating sands, sunlight through barren branches
Sights, sounds, laughter unabashed
Emotions
moving, teeter tottering, up, down,
Catching glimpses of sparkling green
Open wide, reflections of the ethereal
Nurtured with a sigh from parted lips
Flames fanned with angels breath
Urging, urgent, heard, felt, driven
Sentenced in sentences, gladly
Entire being pulsing, shallow breaths
Music in the word, motion in the mind
Unyielding, relentless, rising moon raising tide
Sensory satisfactions, passions in the moment, sated
Ebbing, waves receding, at her want and whim, I
wait
