Hi! My name
is Liberty Belle. Welcome to my page! I'm the newest member of
the Harrington household. My birthday is January 15, 2000, and I
came to live with my new family on April 1, 2000.
I
am a female Cardigan Welsh Corgi and Labrador Retriever mix (a better
combination I can’t think of!). I
am black with a white right leg, white chest and I have small tips of white on
my other toes and chin. I have
the face of a Lab, in the small body of a Corgi.
Ain’t I just adorable?!
I
was born in a litter of six to a lady with 11 adult dogs.
Unfortunately, the lady inherited these dogs from her mother who is
now in a nursing home, and she couldn’t take care of us, so Animal
Allies, a non-profit spay-neuter organization came to our rescue and put
us dogs up for adoption.
My
Mommy and Daddy found me through a link on the Corgi Rescue web page called
ForPaws.
They loved me so much that they drove all the way up to Spartanburg, South Carolina on Saturday to pick out
a puppy. They saw me, and I
saw them, and we
just picked each other out!
My
brothers and sisters were just precious, but Mommy and Daddy think I was the right one.
And I tend to agree! I picked them out as much as they picked
me. They say I have a great temperament,
am very people oriented with my own
little stroke of independence, and I have energy, but am not overly-hyper.
They just knew I was
the one for them!
