The stories were great, but everything else...sets, model-shots, special effects...it all wobbled. (As with the Red Dwarf section ignoring mistakes with the floor numbers, this section ignores the countless times shadows from the boom mike are visible in shot.) Get this lot...

SERIES 1

EPISODE 2 - SPACEFALL

Blake is confined in a different flight chair from the one in the pilot episode.

The star screen in the window wobbles when Avon climbs into the hatch.

When we first see the Liberator it appears to be on its side (Space realism perhaps).

The strings are showing when Raiker tumbles out of the transfer tube into space.

On Liberator's Flight Deck Zen's analysis dome is missing.

Blake is wearing a buckled seat belt while in the restraint harness, then manages to stand up without unbuckling it.

Avon's confinement harness isn't properly closed.

The wall shakes when Leylan uses the communicator and again when he replaces it.

EPISODE 3 - CYGNUS ALPHA

A plot-timing error. Blake, Avon and Jenna boarded the Liberator roughly four months after the London launched from Earth. The London was supposed to take eight months to reach Cygnus Alpha. Blake et al couldn't have been on the Liberator more than a few hours before they arrive in orbit around Cygnus, but by then the London has already landed. What happened to the intervening four months?

The bars to the holding cell wobble when Gan confronts Arco.

Neither Jenna nor Avon use the levers on the teleport console.

Vargas materialises on the opposite side of the room from the teleport bay.

Blake teleports after Vargas, Gan, and Vila, but arrives on the Liberator at the same time.

EPISODE 4 - TIME SQUAD

Jenna's gun is transparent-rimmed as she enters the projectile, but is then solid-rimmed after she climbs out.

Jenna's gun lights up three times as she walks down a corridor.

During the fight with the alien in the teleport bay Jenna's right trouser leg gets torn at the knee. You can see her putting her hand over it to try and hide it, but to no avail.

Gan tilts the console several times while he and Jenna are fighting the Guardian in the teleport bay.

Jenna's holster-belt is undone when she kills the first alien.

The tool hits Jenna on her right shoulder but the bruise is on her left arm.

When the Guardian attacks Jenna in the teleport bay, the kick to her midrift misses by a mile.

EPISODE 5 - THE WEB

The wall behind Gan shakes as he sneaks up on Cally.

When Avon sets off down the corridor to look for the bomb, a camera is caught in shot at the left edge of the screen (it doesn't show on some TVs because of the extreme position, although the camera's shadow is visible).

A pillar has appeared out of nowhere in the teleport section while Avon is doing his repairs. It's gone again later.

The inside and outside of the habitat aren't the same shape.

There's no sign of the forest through the habitat's main window, just a blank background.

After Blake takes the power cells out of their hiding place they appear to be empty.

As the Decimas sneak up to attack Gila and Novara, one of the film crew can be seen reflected in the metal lining of one of the cabinets.

When Gila and Novara die, the neck-hooks on the manikins get caught in shot.

At the end of the Episode, the seat in the central pit of Liberator's Flight Deck makes a peculiar squeaking noise when Blake sits in it.

EPISODE 6 - SEEK-LOCATE-DESTROY

When Cally is knocked out her gun is disconnected and falls to the floor. When the trooper picks it up a moment later the cable is plugged in again. It is also solid-rimmed when Cally drops it, but transparent-rimmed when the trooper picks it up.

Cally falls on her arm when she is knocked out, but her arms are stretched out from her sides a moment later.

The Trooper fighting Cally disappears after the explosion, then re-appears in later scenes.

When Cally beats up the trooper, he gets knocked unconscious when his ELBOWS collide with a supply crate.

The story about Blake's capture by Travis doesn't really match the flashbacks in Episode 1, "The Way Back".

The Trooper who sets the alarm off is carrying a gun, but it disappears when Vila flattens him.

Cally turns Travis' seat away from the door. However, when Blake hits Travis' arm an instant later, he's still facing the door.

EPISODE 7 - MISSION TO DESTINY

When he closes the air vents, Blake knocks one of the controls off the wall.

Avon hits himself in the face with the butt of his gun when he hands it to Blake.

Avon breaks his teleport bracelet - you can hear the plastic casing snap just before he contacts Vila.

Avon jumps when Cally scrapes the floor with her chair.

Sara plucks a gun out of thin air.

Avon's hand is too high when he grabs Sara.

EPISODE 8 - DUEL

Travis should say, "I knew the patrols would push him into this star system". Instead he says they would "push him into this Galaxy."

Gan sees Sinofar at the beginning of the episode, but then nods at the end when Blake says, "You never saw her."

EPISODE 9 - PROJECT AVALON

A camera gets caught in shot when Jenna leaves the flight deck.

By the evidence of the holes in the wall, Jenna's gun seems to be firing bullets instead of energy bolts.

The trooper shot in the doorway by Shevner has disappeared when the reinforcements arrive.

When trying to hide from the security droid, Vila hits his head on a utility pipe.

The Avalon-android blinks after she is shut down.

EPISODE 10 - BREAKDOWN

The flight consoles wobble all the time while Gan attacks Jenna and Blake.

The wall of the medical unit wobbles when Avon activates the communicator.

Blake starts his line "I'll join you in a minute" too early.

Gan hurls Avon into one corner of the computer section. A few seconds later Avon seems to be lying on the opposite side of the room.

Blake can be seen waiting in the corridor to enter the computer room while Gan is fighting Avon. He's blocking a patch of light which suddenly becomes visible through the door as he moves out of the way.

Avon teleports to XK72 with only one bracelet but comes up with a second one to give to Dr Renor.

EPISODE 11 - BOUNTY

Blake doesn't hold down the transmit button on his bracelet when he contacts the Liberator.

When Tyce disarms Blake she removes both the gun and the power cable. When Blake turns to face her a moment later, the power cable is plugged into his belt again.

The Federation guard whom Blake attacks disappears as the car drives away.

Blake isn't wearing gloves when he's gassed in the teleport section, but is when Vila releases his hands.

Blake and Gan's control necklaces are undone during the scene where the crew are locked up.

Tyce manages a change of outfit on the way to the flight deck from the teleport bay.

Jenna appears to attack the same Amagon twice.

EPISODE 12 - DELIVERANCE

Ensor isn't wearing a teleport bracelet when he materialises on the Liberator.

Vila's bracelet falls off while he helps lift Ensor from the teleport bay.

EPISODE 13 - ORAC

The flight log shows scenes Zen couldn't have seen on the planet surface.

While she's on Aristo, Cally's bracelet changes wrists.

Travis' shot seems to travel round a corner to kill the phibian.

In the tunnel Travis' run to Servalan seems far longer than their walk back to the barricade.

Liberator wobbles while in orbit around Aristo. Also, a matte tag can be seen moving across the top left of the screen in the same shot.

The table wobbles continuously while Blake is setting up the Flight Log.

Ensor's plant-shower has sprung a leak.

Vila is caught in shot while waiting for his cue to enter the teleport section.

Avon's shot seems to pass through Travis' back to hit his hand.

SERIES 2

EPISODE 14 - REDEMPTION

Blake spits when he shouts "Vila!"

Blake starts his line 'Avon get the others down here' too early.

Both Liberator and Spaceworld wobble when the ship enters and again when it leaves.

Bek starts his line, "With what you drank..." too early.

Cally doesn't carry a moon disc up when she teleports, but she's taken one as a pet on the Liberator.

EPISODE 16 - WEAPON

As Blake enters the Flight Deck, Cally is mouthing her last line.

The door to Servalan's office has suddenly moved onto a different wall.

When talking to Travis, Servalan starts too soon on "Not too obviously I hope."

When Carnell walks into Servalan's office the door doesn't close behind him properly.

Travis doesn't die when Servalan uses IMIPAK's key, even though he has been marked.

Blake's Clone calls Coser by name then asks him who he is.

A boom mike hanging over the Clone Blake's head is caught in the shot when he talks to Coser.

An odd wire is stuck in the Clone's hair at the end of the episode and keeps dangling in front of his face.

EPISODE 17 - HORIZON

The pursuit ships wobble as they close in on the Liberator.

EPISODE 18 - PRESSURE POINT

Gan's bracelet is on his left wrist when he teleports, but on his right wrist when he enters the church.

Servalan and Travis try to take cover from the grenade by running towards it instead of away from it.

EPISODE 19 - TRIAL

A BBC worker's toolbox is sitting under Cally's console before the attack on Space Command HQ.

EPISODE 20 - KILLER

Orac is lit up when he's not switched on, just before giving information about K47.

As the Liberator leaves Fosforon, the London can be seen docked with it by a transfer tube.

The salvager launches as a Sputnik-type rocket and lands as a T-16 freighter.

The salvager launches in daylight and lands at night.

EPISODE 21 - HOSTAGE

Blake's gun disappears when he falls down the slope.

The costume of the crimo fighting Ushton changes from yellow-trimmed to red-trimmed.

Cally can't open her bracelet and settles for sliding it over her hand.

The badge on Selson's uniform changes colour.

Grant teleports up with Vila's bracelet, but Vila later has a bracelet on.

Blake, Vila, and Avon teleport down in daylight, but the launch doors open onto a night sky.

EPISODE 23 - VOICE FROM THE PAST

The black king suddenly goes missing from the board when the Klute plays Thrylce at Speed Chess.

The Communicator is in a different place on the teleport console from where it was in the previous Episode.

Cally's bracelet changes wrists several times while she's in Freedom City.

Jerriere's earring falls off while he's talking to Servalan.

Chenie tries to help Docholli put his coat on, but holds it upside down. He eventually gives up trying to wear it and just throws it over his shoulder.

EPISODE 25 - THE KEEPER

Jenna's bracelet changes wrists, then disappears before she and the others are attacked. It then reappears moments later.

Jenna receives a necklace she already owns from Gola's sister (she was wearing it in "Voice From The Past").

EPISODE 26 - STAR ONE

Central Control was supposed to have been transferred to Star One thirty years earlier, so how come Lurena was one of the volunteer maintenance team? She surely can't be older than thirty herself.

Lurena tilts a light beacon when she kills Sharkov.

Liberator wobbles as it moves into orbit around Star One.

The brown top under Blake's jacket disappears when he teleports.

One of the explosives slides down the wall while Cally tries to place it.

Orac begins his line "A contact sometime in the past..." too soon.

SERIES 3

EPISODE 27 - AFTERMATH

When Avon fights the Sarran, a man in a red coat is caught in shot at the top of the cliff.

Avon lands on Sarran with one bracelet, but produces another one to give to Dayna.

Dayna's arrow hits the Sarran square in the back, but she's standing to the right of where he and Avon were fighting.

EPISODE 28 - POWERPLAY

The Liberator, the fastest ship in existence, completes the journey from Sarran to Chenga after the hospital ship, despite setting off first. Admittedly Liberator is damaged, but even so.

Vila is able to contact the Liberator via his bracelet but as the ship isn't in orbit around Chenga he must be way out of range.

EPISODE 29 - VOLCANO

When Tarrant and Dayna run down the slope, the power cable is not plugged into Tarrant's gun.

Avon tilts the flight console when the Liberator is hit.

Cally telepaths to Avon that there are three troopers when there are four.

When she's about to teleport to Obsidian, Cally's bracelet falls off.

Tarrant's neck chain keeps vanishing and reappearing.

Dayna isn't carrying the mobile explosive device when she teleports to the planet surface.

Kerril's gun lights up when it isn't firing.

When the "travel terminus opens for business", the sky above the city is dark, but everywhere else it's broad daylight.

EPISODE 33 - CHILDREN OF AURON

Derril is visible through the main screen of Servalan's command cabin before he walks in.

When Servalan throws the cup at the trooper it disappears as it leaves her hand (she's very obviously chucked it behind the chair).

Dayna wears a jumpsuit she left behind on Sarran.

The reason for Cally's exile from Auron is different from the one given in the first series.

Avon says he nearly stole half a billion credits from the Federation Banking Cartel. In Series one, "Spacefall", Vila said it was just five million.

Avon's gloves disappear after he removes them to pick up the guidance unit. He has them again in the next episode.

Punctuation error on the computer screen: "The patients condition continues..."

SERIES 4

Throughout this series, the makers often used matte pictures instead of model shots. These always resulted in very obvious circles showing up on the screen around the spaceships.

EPISODE 40 - RESCUE

The planet Terminal is a different shape and color from in Series Three.

Vila wears a costume he left behind on Sardos in "Moloch", instead of the one he teleported to the planet in in "Terminal".

Someone walks through the bushes behind Vila after he rescues Tarrant, but there's not supposed to be anyone there.

The barrel of the gun Dayna finds in Scorpio's locker is dented.

The wall wobbles while Dayna is searching for the trapdoor.

Tarrant and Dayna change outfits in the teleport.

The lift door closes behind the General before Leitz operates the control.

Gerren cradles his right shoulder all through the episode but it was his left shoulder that was shot.

The Federation trooper killed by Vila is gone when Tarrant, Dayna and Gerren get there.
