  1. 24 loads of laundry per week.  This is astounding but I bead as the washer and dryer does all the work!   Persistence and perseverance are needed to complete projects.
  2. Portable bead supplies are a must.  I bead where ever I am.
  3. bead on the toilet while Jr. takes a bath.
  4. Bead for half an hour after everyone is in bed. Every night.
  5. Don't do the housework first, then bead -- you'll never bead. Bead for half an hour or an hour FIRST, then do your chores.
  6. I let Jr. "help" me bead -- yesterday I was home with him cause he was sick with the flu, and I started some peyote stitch earrings. He wanted to pull the needle through for me, so I let him. Hey, at least I was beading. Then he'll go away a lot quicker if I let him bead with me for a minute. ;-) I did finish the earrings. But he called them little snakes. ;-)
  7. I take portable projects to meetings with me, too. Yep, a big bead project broken down to its smallest tasks can be done.
  8. I bead while the pasta is boiling, and, like you, while the laundry is humming.
  9. I bead at the playground and in the back yard.
  10. I bead while Jr. watches his cartoons.
  11. "saving time so you can bead more" tips? Like using shampoo & conditioner in one? And cleaning the tub while it's draining instead of later? Buying no-iron clothes or hanging them perfectly while they're wet? Using paper plates? Using a sweeper often and a vacuum cleaner once a month?   - Mary T.
  12. I am just resigned to beading in little fits and spurts! Ahhh, but that's ok, my kids are my greatest works in progress! - Jerri
  13. I bead in between calls at work.. I work in customer service (only when it's slow, which it has been lately!) - MommaKat
  14. It's good to have a goal in mind such as a Craft Fair.  This even gives you a sense of 'yes I have to finish this piece!' -  Teresa
  15. Tips? Well, never leave the beads unattended or the toddler will eat some beads and share with the baby! :)
  16. I love using a segmented Tupperware container that I can place my beads in and easily close the lid when I need to jump up for an "emergency".
  17. I bead while surfing the web, waiting for my pages to load -- using every bit of free time for beads! :)
  18. Bead at the table while the kids are doing homework -- I'm there to answer questions, but don't lose my beading time! - Kelly
  19. Lock them all in the closet, unplug the phone, throw on some headphones,
and away you go! Ok so its a fantasy. My only time for beadwork is while
baby naps, and when I stay up to ridiculously late hours (or early
depending on how you look at it). - Babs
  20.   I buy  Market Day foods/  This supports the school and I have more
    time to bead. - Teresa
