My All-time Favorite Singers and Musicians

This page is dedicated to the great men and women who have captured my interest and my heart through their music.

This page has a lot of pictures, and will take about 2 minutes to fully load, but please be patient!

It's worth it!

Trust me!

Oliver Alvarez

He has earned the right to be on the top of my list. I've heard his music, his voice, and I say in all honesty, he has the makings of one of the greatest artists in our world today.

His vocal talents are amazing.

Hi voice can be soft and husky, strong and clear. He can do about anything he wants with it. The results are enough to take your breath away.

He hasn't hit the music scene yet, but I'm going to do all in my power to introduce him to the world. And when the world hears him, their hearts will be forever captured by the music of this man.

Oli, in my heart, you will forever remain the greatest!!!

Garth Brooks

I don't think there's anyone alive today who doesn't know this name. That's a position he's earned, a well-deserved spot.

Garth will forever be the King of Country music for many of us.

He is the epitome of the American man, a role model for the rest of us.

And as far as his singing goes, well he's pretty much unsurpassed in vocal talents.

On stage, his energy is electrifying. His music, the lyrics, the way he sings them, it all has a way of making you stop and listen, no matter what you're doing. His music has the capability of bringing tears to your eyes, making you laugh, making you think. And they're all about life, about us, the common people.

Garth, we love you!!!!

Placido Domingo

The music world will never be the same again since this great tenor appeared on the scene.

His voice captures me every time I listen to him.

I'm a lover of opera, and this man puts a feeling and movement into the music that you've never experienced before.

He has a beautiful strong and clear voice, and earned my total respect and admiration after the first time I heard him.

He will forever be remembered and live on as one of the greatest tenors in music history.

Michael Bolton

This man has an absolutely amazing voice!

The first time I heard him as a kid, I fell in love with his voice, his music.

Even at such a young age, I had a passion for music, good music, music with the capablity to touch the heart and soul, to move me.

His music had that touch for me.

I've carried on arguments for years with people who say, "He can't sing, he doesn't have a good voice."

Well, when his last album, "My Secret Passion" came out, I pointed my finger and said, "Need I say more?"

His passion, and mine, the arias, are collected on this album. Some of the most famous, most beloved.

And I now treasure it.

He not only is an outstanding pop singer, but a fabulous opera singer with a voice to knock them all dead!!

And, just for the record, Oliver and Michael have the same voice qualities. It's unmistakable. Those husky undertones that I love so well.

Oliver will make it just as far as Michael has. I have faith in that!

I'll always be a fan, Michael!

Patsy Cline

All of us surely know this woman!!!

This legend in country music, she's loved by some, disliked by others.

She had a strong voice of gold, her emotion carried through.

She was the rose of country music.

No matter what, she will always be treasured and loved by those who hear her and remember her.

Through her voice, she will always live on.

We still love you, Patsy!!!!

Celine Dion

She's a beautiful lady with a beautiful voice.

As far as women singers, Celine's vocal talents are unsurpassed.

Her music is clear and pure, and she sings from the heart.

Watching her sing, it seems that such a beautiful voice is almost effortless for her to achieve, and yet she sings so much from the heart.

Her voice and music is moving, enthralling. And if I wanted to be a professional lady singer, I'd look to her as a role model.

She is the belle of the music world today, and, I believe, will forever be legendary on the pop music scene.

Her song, "My Heart Will Go On" from "Titanic" forever locked her into the hearts of millions.

We will all forever love you, Celine.

Never stop singing!!

The Backstreet Boys

The boys may be new to the music scene, and they have gone through a lot of ridicule, and the reputation that comes with being a "boy group". Which is, they are just out for money, they only think they can sing, etc.

I'll admit, that was also my opinion at first, but I have since had to change my opinion and admit I was wrong.

The boys really can sing. Their voices together are incredible, and I must give them a thumbs up!

Kevin, Brian, AJ, Howie, and Nick, you guys are great!

Keep up the good work, don't be discouraged, and prove them all wrong!

You're the best!

And last, but never least,

Trisha Yearwood

She's been around for a while, but people are just now starting to really take notice of her.

In the last few years, she's become a princess in country music.

She has a crystal clear voice that will make you sit up and listen.

A voice that you want to hear more and more of.

It may have taken her a while to get to the top, but she's up there now, and I don't think anything or anyone is going to dislodge her.

Her latest releases, and especially her duets with Garth, have audiences everywhere cheering her on adoringly.

Keep it up Trisha!

And you have now reached the end of my dedication page.

As you've probably noticed, my passion for music covers a wide variety of artists and styles.

I just love music, any good music.

I don't like cheap music or fake singers who use instruments to cover their voices.

I like pure, honest voices. And I've fallen in love with all of the ones mentioned above.

If I made a page to include all of my music loves, I'm afraid it would be endless.

So I just added the ones on the top of my list.

I'd love to hear your input on your favorite singers, whether they are mentioned here or not.

If you love music, I'd love to talk to you!

I hope you enjoyed your visit here!

As Always,

~Heidi~
