First and last appearance of alternative Doctor who has been stranded on Earth between 2039 and 2066 after the TARDIS is left on the DEEP (Deep-sea Energy Exploration Project). This Doctor is far more ruthless when it comes to the end justifying the means. At the close of the story, Ruth, having discovered the truth about her father’s death, shoots the Doctor who regenerates. She then shoots his new form and implies she will shoot him dead until all his remaining regenerations are exhausted. First appearance of Ruth, the Doctor’s companion/adopted daughter whom he has looked after since her father died in the DEEP in 2039. |
