A Couple times a year we team together with Pacific Kids Ministry from the US to train teachers. We will spend several days holding training seminars, children services, and services. This last March 2009 we held seminars in Bluefields and Sandy Bay.

Annual Pastors Conference January 2009

Every year the national Nicaragua Assemblies of God has a Pastors conference with up to 5000 people in attendance. For the past seven years we have opened our home to the pastors of the Southern Caribbean Coast. Every year it has been an incredible blessing to have the opportunity to spend time with these friends of ours. We attend the conference together, eat together, spend time getting to know each other better and pray together. Without the opportunity to stay in our home many of these pastors and families would not be able to attend this conference. Every night seeing these pastors up front at the altar seeking God for fresh anointing and God's direction is more then worth any extra work involved in hosting them. It was hard dropping many of them off at the bus station knowing that they had a two day or three day journey home traveling by bus, panga, and boat. The last night of the Conference several of the Bluefields Bible School students and former students came forward to recieve their ministerial credentials.

Ginnette, Speaks at Girls Summer Camp

Ginnette was asked again this year to speak at the Southern California District Assemblies of God Girls (Missionette) Camp. There were over 350 girls that attended the camp along with there leaders. Ginnette used many different illustrated sermons and connected with many girls and leaders. 42 girls gave their hearts to the Lord and 43 received the Baptism in the Holy Spirit. Many girls said they were healed and over a 100 rededicated the lives to the Lord.

Bible Institute Graduate, Pastor, and Teacher

Jairo and his wife, Kenya, came to Kukrahil about three years ago to pastor a church that had had some very difficult times. This is a community that until just very recently could only be reached by boat. Jairo and Kenya came as young ministers to their first pastorate fresh from the Bible Institute in Bluefields. Although they did not have much experience they brought with them a confidence of the call of God, a passionate heart to build a church and to reach the lost.

Now three years later they are getting very much established. They are loved by both the people in the church an in the community. They also oversee a new church plant outside of their town about 30 minutes away. He has trained leaders for ministry both in the church and outside the church. They are also traveling once a month to Bluefields; Jairo to teach in the Bible School and Kenya to study.

If there would not have been a Bible Institute in Bluefields who knows if Jairo and Kenya would have ever had an opportunity to study, prepare, and follow the call that God had placed on their Lives. The Bible Institute is one of the most important ministries that we are involved in.

Special Recognition

Every other month the Pastors of the Southern Caribbean Coast have a pastoral meeting. This is when all the pastors of the district come together to give reports of what God has been doing in their churches. They give each other encouragement and support. This May Troy was honored to receive an award of recognition from the pastors for the work we have been involved in there. It was an incredible honor and blessing. In reality we feel it is a privilege to be able to minister along side of these wonderful men and women of God.
