I have had so many e-mails since I took my pages down in mid march, that I am again putting them back up. I had to have surgery, and the pages were just too much to handle then. The site states my opinions and feeliings towards Ty, Inc. and the Ty Authorized Retailers. The price gouging, and the back door selling to secondary marketers. All of these combined have made finding, hunting, and collecting a virtual impossibility. What was once fun for a family, or childrens hobby has turned into a nightmare that can only be afforded by mainly the upper class that can afford top pay ridiculously high prices to the gouging Ty Athorized Retailers, or to the secondary marketers.

My reasons for putting up these web pages is to see if I can get Ty's attention. Maybe they will take notice and do something about the Beanie Babies situation, or at least try to. I am just a plain ordinary man taking on an international corporation with the best means I have available. The internet and my computer. The fun of hunting Beanie Babies needs to be put back into the hands of who it was intended for. Our children. I know that being a Beanie Babies magnate, it would be easy to be cut off from what is really going on. I am only trying to bring the situation about the Beanie Babies authorized retailers to light. Generally speaking, when I refer to Ty, I am referring to the corporation, not the man. I do hope to get Ty Warner's attention though. Ty, I hope you read this and realize what has happened. Maybe you can help get the situation back under control.

Disgusted
I recently had become disgusted and disillusioned with Beanie Babies and Beanie Buddies. Ty's shipping policy made it impossible for several dealers I know to get any Beanie Babies because they were low priority. These small businesses do not have the customer resources to support selling every line of Ty's products. To be high priority, or shipped to first, you have to buy Beanie Babies, Beanie Buddies, Pillow Pals, Attic Treasures, and the Plush line of stuffed animals. I have now taken my web pages for selling and trading Beanie Babies down and replaced them all with this one.
I'm Out Of It
I am as of today no longer buying, selling or collecting Ty products. I will not support Ty in any way shape or form. I would gladly have purchased Ty Beanies at their current prices and even spent more for retiree's, but I will no longer. Ty's policies, or the lack of enforcing their policies have caused hundreds of people to lose interest in Beanie Babies and caused the bottom to fall out of the market. Their marketing strategy was at first brilliant, but they have fatal errors by not getting enough of the product out on the market thereby causing people to lose interest. I must hand it to Ty though, they changed the course of the nations collectible market. Even the baseball card collectors stores have gotten in on the Ty Beanie Baby rage. These places are where you will more than likely pay the highest price and be ripped off more. If you wish to continue to buy Beanie Babies, I wish you the best of luck. If you are frustrated over the lack of enforcement on the pricing policy and backdoor selling, I urge you to contact Ty in any and every way possibel. If Ty gets enough letters, maybe they will do something about it.
