Here a page about the best gymnast in the world: Lilia Podkopayeva. She has already won so many medals in her life, but we wil remember her mostly for her victory in Atlanta at the 1996 Olympic Games where she beated Huilan Mo on floor and became the AA champion. Unfortunately we haven't heard much of Lilia after the Games. She went on a tour through the USA along with the Magnificent7, but never showed up in any competition. Maybe there is some good news for her fans: I heard she is living in Florida right now and is training for the Sydney Olympics. I hope this is true because I'd love to see her compete again!!
