Manila Children's Choir Visit the Titusville Jaycees On May 24, the Manila Children's Choir visited Titusville. The choir, who is from the Philippines, was touring the United States. They visited the Kennedy Space Center on Monday, had a picnic lunch with a Titusville Doctor, Dr. Florida, at Fox Lake Park, then came to the Titusville Jaycees clubhouse for an "All American Dinner". The Jaycees were able to help the children obtain one of their requirements, by introducing them to some public officials, at the dinner. Present was the Florida State Representative, Randy Ball, the Titusville City Mayor, Larry Bartley, the Vice Mayor, Cheryl Young, Councilman, Carl Hughes, and City Manager/Fire Cheif, Tom Harmer. Also present was Florida Jaycees Membership VP, Mr. Tom Redmond, and Local Chapter President, Janice Hughes. The children were thrilled to get to meet so many "Important" Government officials.
