Welcome To My Pipes 3

Here are more of my favorite pipes. Left Click on the thumbnail to see a larger picture.  Enjoy them as I do.

CavicchiRustBilliard.jpg (36477 bytes)A Cavicchi, black, Rusticated Billiard. Nice and light. Quality from the start. This man is one heck of a great pipe maker.
CavicchiRusticatedBologna.jpg (45623 bytes)An older Cavicchi. this is from the time he was using city names to grade his pipes. This is a Bologna. It smokes like a dream. All                            my Cavicchis do.
CavicchiTanRusticatedPearBent.jpg (45650 bytes)This is a Cavicchi, Tan, 1/8 Bent, Pear shape. It is in the shape of the first briar pipe I ever owned, but this is much better in quality.
CavichiBlackRusticatedBent.jpg (45252 bytes)Cavicchi black rusticated 1C bent. A wonderful pipe to smoke and good looking to boot. I am quite proud of this pipe.
CavichiStraightInsert.jpg (40565 bytes)Cavicchi 2C with insert. A very distinctive looking pipe and great grain. Smokes very well and has plenty of wood in the walls of the bowl.
DA_Amber.jpg (35981 bytes)A DA. Dale Adkins made this pipe. He is a good friend and has made great progress in his pipe making. This thing smokes like a real name brand pipe.
DA_Long.jpg (30677 bytes)Another DA. This one was also made by Dale Adkins. A good smoker and rather large for a nice long smoke.
DAbentPoker.jpg (49765 bytes)Another DA. This one I actually paid for. As you can see, Dale is improving greatly. This one smokes better that the other two and is just as light as holding a feather in your teeth.
GBDcenturyStrPrince.jpg (27463 bytes)A GBD Century. I had one of these pipes when I left Italy in 1975. It got misplaced. I found this one and was very happy to get it back                            into my collection.
GBDemerald.jpg (34222 bytes)A very old emerald green GBD. I like this pipe. It is not very long and stays out of the way when I am doing things around the house.
ManFromDublinMeer.jpg (90682 bytes)This meerschaum was labeled "The Man From Dublin". If you use your imagination, it looks a lot like Dr. Watson. It smokes cool and sweet and is starting to get a little color to it.
MastroDePaja.jpg (39473 bytes)Mastro De Paja. This is a Danish style done by an Italian firm. Smokes wonderful. It was given to me by the Factory Rep at the Boca Raton Pipe Show in 1999.
MeerschaumAndTamper.jpg (50498 bytes)The tamper and the pipe were carved at the same time by a Turkish carver. It has started to color nicely.
MeerschaumPrinceHead.jpg (78275 bytes)Beautifully carved. Very large. Quite intricate. I picked this one up from a local shop that was going out of business. It has not been smoked yet.
mIRCpoker.jpg (41857 bytes)This pipe was made special for the #pipes channel on the DalNet. It was said that the bowls were turned by Becker Musico. It                            is a good smoking pipe and I am proud to have it.
NoNameSitter.jpg (45567 bytes)This is a weird looking duck that was presented to me by a friend. It is a Mock and looks very different because it was reworked by another pipe maker. This is a good smoking pipe in                            spite of the looks of it.
NordingGolfPipe1.jpg (12545 bytes)The first of the Nording Golf Pipes. It has a coating on the pipe that allows it to breath properly and colors just like meerschaum. Or so they say. This is really a briar pipe with that coating applied.
OlderMeerschaum.jpg (65256 bytes)This is an older meerschaum that I got from an old friend. He said that his Great Grandfather had this pipe during the Civil War and it had been handed down. He wanted me to have it because he had no one else to hand it down to.
