Garfield lives with his owner Jon Arbuckle, who Garfield refers as his "meal ticket," and Odie, a witless, drooling pooch that Garfield thinks was bred to be a workiung dog, specifically a paperweight or Door stop! But Garfield isn't all sass and sarcasm: he has A soft side. He loves his teddy bear, Pooky. And even though Odie drools, barks, and has an IQ so low you have to dig for it, Garfield would be lost without him. He even tolerates his owner, Jon Arbuckle.
