Thanks for the Encouragement

I know I can be a pain sometimes.
And maybe you get tired of hearing
All my troubles...
But I want you to know that
You have encouraged me so many times.
When I've fallen, you've picked me up,
Brushed me off, and sent me on my way again.
I know I'm a better person for knowing you.
And I want to thank you for all the
Kind words of encouragement you've sent my way.

The Thankless Nine

The insidious disease

That eats away the flesh,

The living death,

That severs from

Kin and hearth,

The filth and despair,

Fled when the ten

Obeyed the Master.

On their way to the priests,

Healthy skin appeared.

In their intense joy,

The nine forgot their healer.

Only the stranger from Samaria

Who had been one with them

In distress, now knelt alone

Before Jesus, in thankfulness.

Autumn Psalm

What a grand and glorious day!

Today even washing windows is fun.

Praise the Lord for such a day as this,

Another evidence to us of His love.

Crisp leaves are sun-dancing as

Summer warmth spotlights the

Thankful earth.

Sing praises to God for such a day,

For this gift so precious from Him.

Blessed Benefits in Jesus

In Jesus we are blessed
With all spiritual happiness,
Being redeemed by Jesus' blood,
Made accepted in the Beloved.
God predestined us as sons,
Chosen as His holy ones.
In wisdom towards us He abounds,
And in prudence His love resounds,
Making known to us His will,
Sealing us with the Spirit until
We meet together up above
With Jesus, our joint-heir in love.

God Bless You Today

God bless you today,
In everthing you do,
May life be good,
And your friends all true.

May you have sunshine
As you walk along,
May your path be bright,
In your heart a song.

May God bless your job
And co-workers too,
May your work be joy
Until the day is through.

Receive these blessings
In your heart today,
Smile and be happy
As you go on your way.

God's Grace

Abundant provision of grace,

Entrance accessed by faith,

Increasing beyond scope of sin,

Reigns righteousness on men,

Bringing to all eternal life,

An inheritance in Christ;

The Word of God edifies,

Confirmed by wonders and signs;

In Jesus' hands you are safe,

Held fast in the grip of grace;

Before, behind, around and through,

By His blood, this grace is for you!
