CommentsWell done Jon. I am also a type I diabetic which began at the age of 9. Now at the age of 36 I see my own children growing before me, all of them with no indications of poor health. I could only wish to be given the same. However, if only the internet and sites such as yours were available then, it would have done no less than to make my teen years that much easier for myself as well as my family. God Bless.... Herman

I have no idea what it would be like to not be able to have sugar and candy, but it's cool that you have taken so much time just to simply inform others about it...i really respect that. CommentsHi Jon, Your site is great! I am 25 years old and I have had Juvenile Diabetes since I was 11. I now am suffering from Charcot Feet. I am in Colorado and NO one helped me. I have seen many many doctors here and they all diagnosed me wrong. NOW, I am in trouble. Well, thank you for helping. I need as much as I can get! Claudia

CommentsJon: I think you have done a great job. As a mother of a two year child with diabetes, I am always searching for information regarding this dreaded disease. I especially like the carb counting. I personally find great comfort in speaking with other families with diabetes. I also love websites dedicated to diabetes as well. Once again, great job!!!
