Hi, This is my first real attempt at building a homepage...
I did try to come up with one before, but failed at it!... I found a program, though, called Tripod, which makes designing a homepage very easy... Especially for someone like me... Creating a homepage through this program didn't involve alot of computer "know how"... At least not on my part... I need everything laid out in front of me... All I had to do was click on what I wanted, and it was done... No need to use HTML; which I've tried to understand... For now, I still remain clueless when it comes to using it!!! (Does anyone out there know how to give a quick course in using HTML???)
I won't bore anybody with my life history, other than to say I live in Newport, RI (although I grew up in San Diego, CA)... I'm married with 1 son, 2 cats, 2 iguanas, and 1 bird... I work for the School Dept., working in early childhood...
I enjoy cooking, playing guitar, writing, chatting online, and my newest hobby is video conferencing ( thanks to my quickcam)....
When not video conferencing, I'm usually on PowWow or ICQ... (both can be found in the links which I've listed below)

I realize this page is small and doesn't have alot of info. on it... But as I said, this is my first homepage, and I'm still trying things out!!!
P.S. If you have anything you want to say to me, you'll have to email it (katies37@aol.com)... I sort of lost my guestbook... Had it one minute, and then "poof", it was gone... Don't know where it went... So for now I have nothing for vistors to sign.... Oh well!!!
UPDATE: October 12, 1998 - Thanks to those of you who emailed me, telling me about guestbook sitings throughout the world... Hopefully one of those books seen is mine, and it will return to my homepage where it belongs... :-)
Okay... Another update... My guestbook refuses to return to my page, so I've found an alternative... If you want to leave a message with me, just use my answering machine which is attached to my page... You can find it at the bottom of the link page under Kat's Answering Machine... (Hope my guestbook doesn't think this is an excuse not to come back to me!!!)
