Hi and welcome to the Kelin's Chows homepage.  I became interested in this breed 15 years ago when I was looking for a good watch dog. My husband was working nights with the Fire Department, and I was left alone with my daughter (1 year old at the time). I needed a dog that would be reliable, and protective, and at the same time a dog that would be loyal, and loving to my daughter. I found theses qualities in the Chow. Ever since I purchased my first Chow my interest in the breed has grown and this interest has grown into love for the breed. Soon I was breeding and showing chows . With very limited breeding, I have over 20 home bred champions, all owner handled to their championships.
