All's Well That -Well Ends

Hope everyone had a happy 4th.  No rant this time.  I'm trying to be more timely with these things.  On to the "show"

I can't believe I didn't get to add to these totals in the last installment.  I must be slipping.

M's motel room.  S enters with her suitcase.  She goes into bathroom and closet and begins packing up M's things.  Just to make sure you get the full sense of creepiness, creepy music is played.

Cut to what still doesn't look like a Florida road.  M's presumably breaking the speed limit to get to his partner.

Back to M's motel room.  S exits the bathroom unscathed.  <Quite a feat considering CC's penchant for bathroom attacks.>

Cut to motel Parking lot.  M pulls up, gets out of car and bangs on S's door.

M:  Scully!?  Scully!!!??

S leans out of the doorway to M's room.

S:  Mulder, what's going on?

M:  [Entering his room, getting his suitcase] Let's get out of here.  <Excuse me but shouldn't you be thanking S for packing your suitcase?  What an ingrate!>

S:  'Kay.  <I could be mistaken but I could have sworn S gave M one of those "where did that extra head come from" looks>

M:  You pack everything?  <Hey!  If you're so worried about your stuff you can pack it yourself you Punk!>

S:  Yeah.

M looks around the room, closes the door.  We see red eyes under the bed.

Once again we have an X-File that doesn't have that everything's solved.  Not an unusual occurrence for our favorite FBI Agents.

S is a nicer woman than I am.  I certainly wouldn't have gone through the effort of packing up M's stuff.  Especially for a man who has some trouble with things like "please" and "thank you."

Actually, this ending is a bit anticlimactic, what with all the excitement of the last part of the episode.  Anyway, onto the wrap-up.

Final tallies
Number of Incredulous references to location:  19
Number of times Mulder calls Scully by her last name:  16
Number of times Scully calls Mulder by his last name:  23
(Scully always seems to beat Mulder out in this department.)
Number of (gratuitous?) Krycek mentions:  3

Next Deconstruction:  Two Fathers/One Son.  It's high time I did a Krycek episode.
