The Midnight Society was founded by Lady Nightshade.     It is based upon Jane Jensen's Gabriel Knight series.     The world is in chaos.     It is a war between Heaven and Hell.     We are a very special group of people known as the Schattenjägers.     It is a German word referring to "Shadow Hunters."     We are the only mortals who knows about the true existence of immortals and the supernatural phenomenon.     Throughout the ages of time, the Knight (Ritter) family has kept evidence and records of each immortal and the unexplained.     It is very important to have such things on file so we can have an idea what we are up against if we have to confront them.     For each generation, the family talisman is passed down from father to son for we are the chosen ones to fight the shadows of darkness.     So won't you join us in the fight against evil?     Please don't forget to sign my little black guestbook near the bottom of the screen.
