The Blessed Event
It happened like this .... Oh boy I was in the hospital for a week before he was born! Finally on Sunday morning I started feel pain!I never felt so much pain in my life. I thought I was gonna die! But I didn't! Now it seems like nothing.When Rakim was a few minutes old he was so cute (and still is)! He was just looking around. He has so much hair! Grandma and Daddy were there!
Arriving Home
Oh gosh, and then ... the sleepless nights began!I sure wasn't prepared to getting up every 3 hours! I did enjoy getting up and feeding my baby! It was quiet time for the both of us!I went back to work when Rakim was 6 weeks old.
The very first day he rolled over at the babysitters. I was bummed I didn't get to see it.
Now, at 5 months old he is 17 pounds and a bundle of joy! Every minute we have together is very special!
I look forward to the weekends we have all day together!
