Parents were Enoch Wood Peabody and Cornelia Marshall of Brooklyn, NY.
Charles and Lilly had 10 children (2 died as infants). Surving children were: Charles Macaulay; Folger; Alexander Marshall; Norman Penfield; Gerard Rushton; Enoch Wood; Laurence Bernard and Duane.
Charles was the founder of the Alaskan Steamship Co. and a very prominent person in the Seattle area. More of his life and the life of the Peabody's in Seattle will be written on a seperate page.
