Dr.Pramod B. Salaskar, student of K.J.Somaiya College has obtained his Ph.D
with a Doctorate in HydroBiology from the University of Bombay.
His research subject was "Some Environmental Aspects of Powai
Lake".
This was an unique event for THE MAHARASHTRA STATE ANGLING ASSOCIATION.
Since MSAA
has helped & encouraged him throughout his study on the subject.
All through this period Dr.Salaskar has been working at Powai
Lake.
His water analysis results have been sent to
The Bombay Municipal Corporation as well as the
Environment Department of the Government of Maharashtra.
As a token of appreciation THE MAHARASHTRA STATE ANGLING ASSOCIATION
presnted him with a purse & confer upon him
Honorary Membership.
Dr. Salaskar will continue to work for our Association & has
offered his services as a Co-opted Commitee Member.
