Why doesn't a mature dog cock his leg, should there be any place for alarm?

The only worry of your dog is that he gets wet when he does his stuff. The impulse to cock the leg comes with the sniffing, hormones and watching. For instance, if a female puppy grew with only male dogs, then you’ll see that she cock’s her leg as well when she smells the smell of a male’s urine. Dogs cock their legs so the smell will get up to the other males nose. The smell stay’s there as a mark, so the dogs that come there will know that there’s a “leader” of the place there. All puppies start their way by “sitting” without cocking at all, some of the puppies do cock their legs, but these ones are just a few out of all of them. Puppies start to cock their legs, from the day they start to produce the hormones. There might be some dogs, that even after they became mature dogs, they won’t cock their legs And they CAN breed bitches and they DO have the hormones, but it might take them longer time, or that they just won’t have this behavior to cock the leg. If a dog want’s to learn how to cock his leg, he has to spend some more time with other male dogs.

Whenever I leave my dog alone at home, she eats the house, and make such a mess, why does she do that?

Dogs are friendly animals. They love action, mostly not because they want to be a part of it, just because the watching at it, make them want to join. A dog would like to be in side the action, unless he is sick. When guests will come to the house, he’ll be the first one to welcome them, with barking and jumping; he doesn't like to be left alone. The loneliness is not a natural situation, and it’s boring. Dogs that lives with other people learn that whenever they are bored, they have to find something else that will keep them busy. Most of the dogs love attention. When the dog is being left alone, he gets worried and his panic makes him destructive. His acting is not because he wants to hurt you for what you “did” to him, he does it just out of his bad feelings. Before you go, don’t pet your dog, you may leave her few toys that might make her busy, and you can leave the TV or the radio open, it might help her get over that hard time.

How do I make my dog a stud dog?

Stud dogs are dogs that their “job” is to breed other bitches. If you want to make your dog a stud dog, unfortunately, you must win few dog shows, so your dog will get a degree. Also, your dog has to be a purebred with papers. At the competition about being a stud dog, the judges check the dog’s behavior; it’s character, appearance, papers, and the degrees that he got at the dog shows. You can contact the breed kennel club, and ask them for the information about when and where they do this competition.

Why do dogs bury bones?

Dogs berry bones long got from the prehistory. Dog s did it then, because not always they had food, so they berries the food in the dirt, and when ever they were hungry, they got back to that place to dig it out. The dog don’t really have a reason to do this, but some dogs just feel that if they owner eats, then they should to, so they watch their “hidden” food until they’ll be hungry enough to dig it out.

How can I make sure that I won’t lose my dog when he goes out for his walk alone?

First, it is very bad that you send your dog alone out side. When your dog goes out side by it self, he can end him self on the side of the road. Or at the kidnapper, that thought that it might be nice to have a dog, especially if your dog is a pure breed or even to get into a dog fight, and he’ll won’t make it home. There are few ways to make sure you won'’ loose your dog; you never let him go out by him self, second- you can buy your dog an information tag. On that tag you have a place to put your dog’s name, your phone number and address. It’s not good to write the dog’s name because if a person takes your dog, and the dog will see that this person knows his name, he might get friendly with him, and won’t try to get back home.

I can’t give my dog her medicine, what should I do?

Many dogs have this problem with the medicine that they must have. If it’s after a disease of something like it. There is an easy way, by putting the medicine inside a small piece of food. Most of the dogs will eat it this way. If not, you open your dog’s mouth throw the medicine in, and then you close you dog’s mouth. make sure you don’t close it on it’s tong, that might hurt and the next time you dog won’t trust you. After few times, your dog might even take the medicine by it self, just to make sure you won’t do the same thing that you did last time. Good luck!
