Welcome to One of my Favorite Places...
Below you will find a few
of the poems I like....
I hope you enjoy them as much as I do....

The darkness calls my name,
It beckons to my soul,
A spirit cries for freedom, a spirit
light can't hold.
I yern to see the moon,
Let the dark caress my face,
I shiver with sheer ectasy,
When it is darkness that I taste
Then dusk turns to dawn,
And the devil is to blame,
For night time in my daytime
And Vampire is my name..

I crave the moonlight
It fills my soul with a power I do
not know
I do not fight
The urge to kill my next
unsuspecting foe
I feel there essence
Coursing within my veins their life
so still
I feel it's presence I slowly let them go
for I've had my fill
I live, I command, I am power, and I
must kill again
For in this darkened night I kill
and stand
Laughing at the darkness of the
night
into it I take flight
New life, that now flows within me
My power unending like the blankened
sea
So it is for now and so shall it
forever be

The Parkway's Garden Path

A man beheld a maid on a parkway's
garden path.
On an evening when the night was full
of stars.
Everywhere you looked the blossoms in
full bloom.
Smells sweet like honeysuckle
and the lilacs overpowered.
A maid beheld a man on a parkway's
garden path.
On an evening when the night was full
of stars. When their eyes met it seemed that time
stood still
and they would have all of
eternity.
They wished for each other- and they
longed for forever
but they never-ever-ever, no they never
got together.
So the next time you go walking down a
parkway's garden path,
and the sky is clear and oh so full
of stars. Be careful what you wish for,
Be careful who you long for,
For eternity is far too long to roam
this earth alone.

Dawn

Eternal darkness, forever night
Mere serenity, essence of peace
Shimmering flicker of candle light
Desire of life, shall never cease
Lost innocence, lust to bite
Never aged-yet never young
Dawn approacheth, remain from sight
Those taken shall go unsung.

Vampire

It was hot and cold
sometimes new and always old
I was young and bold
My soul had been sold
It was the thrill
of the devil's kill
It is the wound that won't heal
and he always comes against my will
I am a creature of the night
I always cause such a fright
and there is a legend about my bite
but with my race, it's alright
I am the Vampire
and I never tire
My throat is continuously on fire
So is this what they all admire?

Petra of the Loveless

To taste blood?
Ask me in a moment
when the blood dries on my lips
Consider me the wind
that propels your ghostly ships
Another skeleton hiding
stealthily in the dark
While a mortal stops to whisper
in the ear of dying sparks
Medusa looks upon you
and turns your heart to stone
Around the neck of danger
is a lei of mortal bones
From the softest flesh of woman,
to the eyes of new born youth
Look deep into my soul,
read the scriptures words of truth
Dress in black and
dance around the bloody funeral pyre
Look to the sky of rusted will
and see the heart of fire
Walk on down to Disney Land,
let Mickey kiss your hand
Then turn around,
I'll be there to swipe you from this land
In days of old, vampire yore,
the truth is all I'll say
But I can't stand by and watch you crawl,
trying to get away
In Nepal, religion shines
and directs you to your lord
Unless you take to heart what's said
it's only just a word
From the final scene of Hamlet,
to the flag on windy days
I need the help of no one
to cure my wicked ways
I laugh at southern belles,
northern femme fetals too
I'll take the sweetheart's queen
and add her to my zoo
So stay inside, lock your doors,
hide deep in your home
'Cause I'm Petra, of the Loveless,
and I'm taking back my throne

My Tombstone Bleeds

Untitled

Press in sweet Darkness,
Steal me away, and drop me somewhere,
in loving black night.
Awaiting fair sunshine,
to singe my flesh and blind my
eyes. Alone in the coolness of dew,
waiting. Impending dawn, Impending doom.
All beauty, all loveliness,
Must end.
Must die.
We shall die.
Yes, my constant friend, at dawn,
We shall die together.
