For her cool new image, Mel looks as though she's taken plenty of fashion advice from bandmate Posh Spice, who favours expensive designer labels like Prada and Gucci. Liverpool footie fan Mel, 23, has repeatedly told pals she was fed-up with her sporty image. A friend revealed: "This new upmarket image is the way Melanie wants to look from now on. She's always been a down-to-earth girl, but no-one likes to go around dressed in tracksuits all of the time."
