A Little Bit About... Born in Australia on July 26, 1977, Rebecca St. James is now 21, and the best singer in the whole world! She just released her fifth album on October 20, 1998 and it is called PRAY... She is totally on fire for God and actually, it was at one of her altar calls when I became a Christian! At the age of 14, she was the lead singer of a Christian band at her highschool, and Carman ending up hearing Rebecca, so he got her to open up and do a little concert for him on one of his tours... Later, they moved to the states which they had the feeling God was telling them to do... About 2 months after they'd moved to Tenesee, Rebecca's dad lost his job... it became a terrible time for them over the next little while, they didn't have any furniture, any food, no car, Rebecca's mom was pregnant with her 7th child, they didn't have the money for that the baby to be born in a hospital, but they didn't complain, they sat on the floor in her family room everyday, they had their devotions, and they prayed... God started to work miracles... People started to leave furniture on their lawns, they'd get cheques in the mail, there would be boxes of cereal on their doorstep, someone gave them their van, and someone even sent them an anonymous cheque for the baby to be born in a hospital, and Rebecca and her family still to this day don't know who sent that cheque... isn't that awesome?
