Ritsuko Akagi Yui introduces Ritsuko to Mousse as a fellow student. Also, she hopes that Mousse will
be closer to Ritsuko, whom she asked to keep an eye on Mousse for her. At some point, she falls in love with him. She tends to also be very protective of him as well. Later, she becomes NERV’s top scientist. |

During her time at NERV, she replaces her mother as head of the technical department. Also, once Mousse arrives, he sees that she's given her loyalties to Gendou. She does, however, try to rekindle the relationship that she and Mousse once had. Also, she knows about Eva Unit One, and why it protects him. |
