About the NRC
The Naval Reserve Cadets (NRC) is a Voluntary youth program open to youth
between 13 and 18 years old.
The NRC has been supported by the Royal
Australian Navy (RAN) since 1976. before 1976 it was known as
the Sea Cadets. There are 75 NRC units located
throughout Australia.
Cadets in the NRC learn a whole range of skills, they include:

There are several ranks
in the NRC and all cadets have the chance of being promoted to that rank
given they try hard and show the skills needed to be promoted.
