Bio: I am a native Bombayite, born and raised in Andheri/ Bandra.
Where the hell is that you ask? Bandra is a tiny summer town
located on the east shores of the Arabian Sea, that's the city of
Bombay on the West Coast of India smack-dab in the middle of the state
of Maharashtra. I passed my I.C.S.E exams in 1984, from St. Xavier's
Matheran,(a nice cozy Hill station) this Hill station is shut down
completely during the monsoons,(Thunder-storms, lightning, uprooting
of trees.... you name it.)
After finishing High School, I had to move back to Bombay(No Colleges
in Matheran) to join St. Andrew's College, Bandra, Bombay & later
joined St. Xavier's Bombay, to advance my career in Computers, as well
as start another band. Oh yeah, I used to be in a kick ass band called
"The Combustibles" Unfortunately the Band's leader died in an accident.
The band is not together any more, since we had to deal with so many
close minded people in the music industry. I have some practice tapes,
and a demo so drop me a line if you would like to listen. In the future
I hope to own a really nice home, with slide insurance. I will know
when I have made it when I have built my own "in-house" studio, so all
my friends could come over and jam... Who knows maybe those tapes will
be floating around in a few years!
Interests
Music: All kinds, if its good, its good... (Favorite is Western Classical,
especially Mozart)
Mountain Biking: Live to ride, ride to live...
Hiking: Show me a cool place =0)
Guitars: Anyone who can play like Clapton, can be my pal.
Lyrics: There is nothing like good words

Soaps: X-Files, Millenium, The Pretender.

then there is Richard Avedon, David Hamilton, Robert Farber,
Robert Mapplethorpe, & if I miss out Henri Cartier Bresson,
I would be commiting a sin. Some of the other 'Hot-Shots'
whose work I admire are Ken Marcus, Barry Lategan,
Norman Parkinson, Herb Ritts, Clive-Arrow Smith, Allen Jones,
Bert Stern, Francis Giacobetti...... & many more.
My Indian Favourites are Adrian Steven, Lance Daines
& the Late Mr.Wilas Bhende.
There are other Indians who are good, but very money minded,
& I would not like their names to occupy space on my site.
Movies: Art Films are my Favorite. Again... if its good, anything......
Movie Directors: Satyajit Ray remains my all time favorite, then there is
Raj Kapoor, Steven Speilberg, Cecil B Demille, Bimal Roy,
Sergio Leone, Guru Dutt, Akira Kurosawa, Roman Polanski,
Govind Nihalani, Mehboob Khan... I guess the list is
endless.
Games: Love 'em, except mind games :-)
