This paper basically aims to delve into the intricacies of ERP, which has become the buzzword. It is an attempt to help the novices to get A better understanding of ERP by going through its structure, guidelines for implementation and issues to consider for the same.To an extent the paper has made an attempt to look at ERP with Indian view point.
This paper was presented at SUMMIT '98', a National level technical fete conducted by the IEEE students chapter, Chengannur College Of Engineering, Kerala, India.
The technical fete was the largest students chapter in Asia and was awarded the second prize.
