In this website you will find hand made pottery of several types: functional stoneware pieces, porcelain fish sculptures, and a variety of one-of-a-kind Raku pottery pieces, including wheel thrown Raku and hand made Raku sculptures, including Raku fish. My name is Stuart Tollefson. I live and work in the lakes region of West Central Minnesota, next to Otter Tail Lake, on Highway 78, in the town of Ottertail. My retail shop, house and workshop are located among a large group of oak trees; hence the name Ottertail Oaks. (I don't make oak furniture, nor anything from wood, except routed cabin signs.)

Since 1973 I have been a full time potter, and during that time, I have always tried to produce high quality pottery at a fair price. In the products section of the web site, I have included examples of my porcelain fish, as well as a small selection of functional high temperature stoneware. There are also one-of-a-kind pieces in stoneware and Raku fired pots and a few of my paintings. You are invited to come in and browse for a while.
