This page is dedicated, in loving memory of Hannah R. Bartoletta, to the far too many extremely courageous children that must battle these terrible diseases each year, and the parents that support them. You are our heroes. It is my hope that this page will serve as a central point of resource and support for the many parents that must face these unwelcomed challenges. God Bless you all! Our Angels are watching.
PCFC is a non-profit organization run by parents of children fighting cancer; for parents of children fighting cancer. The organization is made up of mostly, but by all means, not limited to military personnel who's children are fighting some form of childhood cancer. The organization is based out of the Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, DC. The mission of the organization is to provide both financial and emotional support to families who find themselves battling some form of childhood disease. Any and all funds raised in support of PCFC go directly back to support these families.
Help can come in a number of forms. We are
constantly in
search of volunteers to help out with the organization. Please feel free
to contact any of the PCFC officers listed below if you feel you have something beneficial
to offer. In addition to your time or creativity PCFC has two Combined
Federal Campaign Numbers set up to receive contributions. These are

Please remember that we hold our monthly meetings on the first Friday of the month at 10:00am in the conference room on Ward 52 at Walter Reed. Kids are always welcome...we have the playroom open and have donuts and coffee. The meeting usually last about and hour. Come out and join us.

New Family, Welcome Aboard Folders
New family packages are being put together by members of PCFC in an effort to help answer those questions that seem to get lost in the shuffle when a new family is diagnosed. If you are in need of a "Welcome Aboard Folder", or would like to help out in putting these folders together for our new families please contact one of the PCFC officers or send a request to PCFC@hotmail.com

Welcome to the "Kids Corner". These are just some of the children that have been treated at Walter Reed. Take the time to become familiar with some of the faces that your might see around the ward. Many of these special children have compiled their personal stories for others to read. Feel free to take a look.
