Battle Chart
There are exactly 15 types (so far) that have their own strengths and weaknesses.  The chat below will show you what Pokémon will do good in battles.


An effective battle would be with your Pidgeotto and a wild Sandshrew.  Who would win?  First think, what kind of Pokémon is a Pideotto, well, first thing, it's a flying type, while the sandshrew is a ground.  Check the chart below, who would win? Pidgeotto.

An uneffective battle would be with your staryu versing a oddish.  Check again, oddish is a grass pokémon while your staryu is water.  Grass pokémon like water.  Get it now?


This chart tells you if you have a chance of winning.

Use the left column as your pokémon and the top row as the enemy.

E = effective
G = good
N = not effective
B = bad, totally useless
