It's the moment you've all been waiting for, Wizards of the Coast who brought you Magic the gathering presents Pokemon Trading Cards!! Wooooo....
The point of the game is to play and battle Pokémon as cards, since Pokémon isn't real, they brought us to cards. If you've played Magic, you would understand how to play. It's as simple as playing Magic, even more simplier since it's made for little kiddies to play too including the older trainers too of course. To beginners, experts and intermediates.

Well, from what the card says, they will be their name, evolution stage, attack cost and info, the illustrator of the picture, the level it learns the attack, it's number, card number, it's hit points, it's type, some extra data, attack damage and a Raity Symbol. Energy Cards are used for using your Pokémon's attacks and moves and also used to bring your Pokémon back. Trainer Cards are used to help you in either your active and benched Pokémon or your deck.
Out now are starter decks for two players, booster packs, theme decks like Zap! or Brushfire, jungle booster packs and jungle theme decks like Waterblast. Each theme deck has an instructions booklet, some have a coin, damage counters, 59 cards (including energy cards, trainer cards, and pkmn cards), and a holo card(60) that's picture is shiny, pretty and worth alot (if in good condition). For example a Mewtwo holo card would be found in the Zap! deck and something like a Raichu will have to be found in booster packs if you're lucky.
There are a total of 166 cards so far including the pokémon cards and the jungle. There will be much more coming soon!
