Tips & Tricks
Here are some Tips & Tricks you could try or will help you on
your game!
These are in no particular order!
Clone Trick
To clone a pokémon, it requires two gameboys and cartridges and a game link. But you were warned that one of the pokémon that you traded might disappear, since you are cloning the one you want.
1. Go to the Cable Club and sign up at the same time with the link connected. One trainer should have the Pokémon you want to trade and the other trainer should have the one that they don't want.
2. When trading a "waiting" message will appear, turn on the gameboy that has the pokémon you want to trade.
3. Turn off the other trainer's Gameboy. Turn both of them back on again. If it worked both would have the pokémon they both wanted, leaving the one they didn't want, gone.
Side Tip: Search the Underground Path for valuable items at random. But don't waste too much time there, instead use Item Finder

Increase a Pokémon's Power Ratings
Instead of waiting for it to level up, you could increase a Pokémon's power
rating (Attack, Defense, Speed, & Special) using items. It just takes 9,800 to buy
one! Yeh.. Pretty expensive actually, but in a way, it's worth it. But a Pokémon
could only take a maximum of items that increase a pokémon's power rating (just one)
until the next particular level.
Protein - Increase Attack
Iron - Increase Defense
Carbos - Speed
Calcium - Special
You could buy these EXPENSIVE, but worth it items at the Celadon City
Department Store, all the way up in the 5th Floor! (Geez, why am I advertising for theM? They should pay me for
doing that)
Lost in Saffron Gym?
Ahh! I'm lost in the Saffron Gym warp rooms!
No worries, we got the solution for you! If you're ever lost in the Saffron Gym,
warp either bottom or above and you'll eventually get out!
OR, if it really stings... try the little map:

Follow the numbers to 1 to get out
Side Tip: Speak to all the employees in the Celadon Department
Store. Especially the ones with two people behind a counter. Some might give you
somethings like TMs.
Some of the information was taken from the Nintendo Pros themselves. Just to tell you now anyway, you know all that copyright stuff.
