My Odyssey

In the begining there was a whole person who lived life to it's fullest, a person that smiled at adversity and was always there for those that needed me. But that was in the begining.

In the summer of 1998 I was diagnosed with a Chronic Illness. Prior to this I had a very fulfilling life and career. I, like most other people believed that I had a firm grip on my destiny. I was sadly mistaken. I wanted to share with others the challenges I have had to overcome and the thought process that went along with each new hurdle.

Those with Chronic Pain disorders will be able to relate and my hope is that those who do not have to suffer with this will allow my words to touch their hearts and enable them to understand.

And to the Pain I would like to say "I have only just begun, and you will not win the battle."
