When I read those words,

...on my screen, in my home,

The ship of my soul took sail.

Were they of your heart, of your soul?

Were they the words of a kindred spirit?

I know not the answer........

Yet, those words encompassed me,

They sent me into a vortex,

....filled with vibrant emotions.

Not unlike the thunderous roar of the sea,

those emotions surrounded me....

...and quieted all else.....

...except those words in my head.

...except those words in my heart.
